Project Statement
The goal is to convey the meaning and importance of greenery in our lives by depriving the visitors from greenery at first and ultimately revealing it to them in the end to make them feel thankful for these blessings that Allah has blessed us with. Inspired by the Quran See you not that Allah sends down water (rain) from the sky, and then the earth becomes green? Verily, Allah is the Most Kind and Courteous, Well-Acquainted with all things. Concept Statement
This place has a linear system with different spaces inside. It provides a different experience for visitors where they will feel several emotions throughout the walk. In the first area, the floor and walls are cracked dry, with transparent glass in the ceiling so that sunlight reaches the area, giving a feeling of heat and dryness. The walls gradually shrink leading the visitors to the second area (straight path). In the transitional path, There are 3 openings in the ceiling behind each other in a straight line that allow sunray to enter the path, inspired by the sunrays between trees in forests, making walkers regain joy. In the final area the ground is gradually elevated up to 4 meters above ground so that visitors feel they are on top of a mountain, facing the red sea in three ways (North, east, and west). There is an open roof and transparent glass on the side walls for additional safety. Visitors meet with nature and the stunning scenery, feeling released, live and thankful for living with nature.
